The Cayman Islands will feature as a world renowned dive site for mobility challenged teenagers.
Between 28 June and 3 July the non-profit organisation Stay-Focused from the United States will host a reunion for its class of 2004.
Stay-Focused offers mobility challenged persons the opportunity to become certified scuba divers, and, through that experience, to learn lasting lessons about life and achievement.
Chris Arcell, 17; Chelsea Bilodeau, 16; Jaclyn Lanzetti, 16; Mariya Redden, 15; Louis Riccardi, 15; and Emily Seelenfreund, 14; from dive class 2004 will spend a week in Grand Cayman at the reunion.
Joining them will be Medical Advisor Dr. JenFu Cheng,; Swim Coach/Adviser Trisha Yurochko; Dive Instructor Marty Banks; Program Manager/Dive Instructor Richard Smart; and Anthony Lanzetti.
The group will stay at the Courtyard Marriott and liaise with dove partner Red Sail Sports.
They will also feature on Channel 27’s Daybreak programme.
Another trip is planned for early August with four student divers.
