The Cayman Islands Society of Human Resource Professionals is gearing up to host its annual conference and promises this year’s event to be the best and biggest yet.
‘We are very excited about this year’s conference and the overseas and local intellect in the field that have made a commitment to being a part of this event,’ commented CISHRP’s President Samantha Bennett in a press release.
The key overseas speakers for this year’s event are Dr. Joseph Mancusi, one of America’s most outstanding motivational speakers and leadership trainers; John Rubino, who is known for his expertise in the design and implementation of corporate values/objectives and their link to human resource strategies, performance-driven incentive plans and performance management systems; and Mike Horne, an executive and organization development consultant.
Beyond the presentations, each speaker will be conducting hands on workshops for the conference attendees, an added benefit for the Society’s members and all HR professionals on island who attend.
The conference is for 18 and 19 August and takes place at the Westin Casuarina Hotel.
The cost of the two-day event is CI$175 in advance for members and CI$225 in advance for non-members. Lunch will be included on both days.
The Society is encouraging all interested persons to register as soon as possible – by 31 July at the latest – to ensure that they are guaranteed a spot. For registration or other information contact [email protected] or visit www.cishrp.ky.
A closing cocktail reception will be held at the conclusion of the conference on 19 August.
This year’s conference committee is headed up by CISHRP’s Vice-President Stacey Vandevelde. Event sponsor is Cable & Wireless.
