While their favourite kind of photographs might well be the mug-shots of criminals they have helped to catch, Cayman Crime Stoppers will have a different kind of picture on their minds Saturday.
The revitalised organisation is hoping that the public will turn out in large numbers to take part in what could be the largest ever mass photo shoot ever staged here.
Crime Stoppers have hopes that about 1,000 people will turn up at Safehaven to line up for the photograph.
The picture is set to be used as part of the organisation’s forthcoming promotional poster and leaflet campaign.
Those attending the 9am shoot will receive a free T-shirt.
‘We have had great support for the idea from all sections of the community, including Governor, Mr. Stuart Jack,’ said Crime Stoppers chairman Stuart Bostock.
‘Local organisations, groups and associations have expressed their intention to come along so we are hoping for a good turnout.’
