I was saddened and absolutely outraged to read the article about the dog that was randomly and brutally attacked and left for dead.
The person that did this is clearly mentally disturbed and the fact that they are freely mingling with society right now is bothersome at best.
I urge anyone who knows anything about this brutal attack on an innocent animal to contact the authorities right away; this person should be in prison for what they have done.
A human life could be next. In my country, the USA, cruelty to an animal is a first degree felony punishable by jail time. We do not tolerate it…period.
I urge the people of these islands, as Dr. Bush said, to demand stronger laws against people who commit these cowardly crimes. There is no excuse for violence against animals.
You, the people, have a voice and you must stand up and be heard.
