It was the sum of good times for those visiting the Mathematics Fair and Science Exhibition at the Mary Miller Memorial Hall, Red Bay last Saturday.
Students, teachers, parents and visitors participated in a number of activities that were designed to make mathematics fun and interesting.
The day featured music, computer activities, special quizzes, games and a number of other learning experiences.
The sixth annual mathematics and combined science event also sponsored a special treat for those attending. Students from various government schools were encouraged to design a costume with a mathematics theme to be entered in a competition.
First place went to Tacita Berry from Red Bay Primary, second was a tie between Amber McCoy and Brittany Pasaligan.
The gate prize, a giant food hamper donated by Foster’s Food Fair, was won by a student from Montessori By the Sea and Alexander Aldarenga won the ticket donated by Cayman Airways.
