Cayman Brac was recently featured on CBS 4 Denver as the location where five disabled divers from Denver, Colorado did a Learn to Dive trip.
The disabled divers and a television crew from CBS 4 Denver travelled to the Cayman Islands in January.
‘CBS 4 Denver recently aired the inspirational story of these individuals who got their certification in Cayman Brac,’ explains information from the Department of Tourism.
‘With over 12 hours of usable footage, as reported by CBS 4, the piece was broken down into different segments which aired on the 10 o’clock news for three consecutive nights.’
DoT explains that CBS 4 photographer Dale Atchinson, and reporter Jodi Brooks, relayed the story of these disabled divers and their momentous trip to the Cayman Islands with the background of Cayman Brac’s beaches and incredible underwater scenery.
‘The divers stayed at the Divi Tiara, which was also featured and commended as one of the few accommodations in the Caribbean that is handicap accessible.’
