Tracey Fentem, previously director of Sales and Marketing The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman resort, has been appointed director of sales for The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
She will oversee sales of the remaining oceanfront Residences priced from $3.6 million, including the $44 million penthouse 7 South.
‘Thanks to Tracey’s expertise this hotel is looking at 90 per cent occupancy this month at an average daily rate in excess of $800, said Michael Ryan, owner and developer of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman via press release. ‘Tracey is a consummate salesperson with deep understanding of The Ritz-Carlton customer, the ultra-affluent market and the unique offerings of Cayman as a high end destination. She’s the perfect ambassador for the ultimate luxury product: The Residences.’
Ms Fentem will be responsible for $137 million in real estate sales represented by the current inventory of 18 available units. This includes the resale initiative for Residence owners who have chosen to sell their unit and realize the significant appreciation following the property’s opening on 15 December, which has garnered world-wide media attention.
This also opens the door for new purchasers with many of the prime units still available. With final touches on the Residences being wrapped up, Ms Fentem’s customers can move into many Residences immediately while other units can be completed in 30-90 days.
Ms Fentem joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC in March 1999, working solely with the Caribbean properties.
Prior to her current position, she served as area director of Incentive & Insurance for The Ritz-Carlton, Caribbean & Mexico for two years. While in this position, she was responsible for all meetings and incentive business for the east coast and mid-west for Ritz-Carlton properties in Cancun, Jamaica, San Juan and St. Thomas. She also served as the director of sales and marketing at The Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall, Jamaica where she was responsible for pre and post opening sales and marketing.
In addition to her Ritz-Carlton experience, she served as director of sales for several other noted Caribbean resorts, such as the El Conquistador Resort & Country Club in Puerto Rico as well as Hyatt Resorts Caribbean which included two resorts in Puerto Rico, Aruba, Grand Cayman, and Key West.
