Changes approved for AG reports

An amendment to Standing Orders to change the way certain reports are made public was approved in the House on Thursday.

Opposition MLA Rolston Anglin had brought a motion to the Legislative Assembly seeking to change the way reports of the Auditor General were made public.

The proposed amendment would make the reports public at the same time they were distributed to Legislative Assembly Members.

The motion had been referred to the Standing Orders Committee which had agreed that the proposed amendment be accepted.
