Staff of TransOcean Bank are challenging other small banks and businesses in the Cayman Islands to contribute what they can towards the initiative.

‘This is a great example of an employer in the Cayman Islands stepping up and supporting what is a critical project for the health and welfare of every woman living in the Cayman Islands,’ said Dr Sook Yin, Medical Director of the Cancer Society.

‘We hope that through the support of organisations such as TransOcean Bank to have raised enough funds to purchase the machine in next two to three months.’

The Cancer Society will donate the new digital mammogram machine to the Cayman Islands Hospital.
