FirstCaribbean helps NCVO

FirstCaribbean International Bank has once again extended a helping hand to a worthy cause in the Cayman Islands.

According to Janice Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of the National Council of Voluntary Organisations, the donation will go toward purchasing equipment for Miss Nadine’s Pre-School, one of the many projects undertaken by the NCVO. ‘Thanks to FirstCaribbean we are now able to provide the Pre-School with much-needed books, toys and educational supplies,’ she said.

The NCVO is an independent, non-profit charitable organization that engages in projects to meet the ever-increasing social needs of the community, states a press release.

‘Donations from corporate entities like FirstCaribbean are essential for us to keep our projects running,’ said Ms Wilson.

Mark McIntyre, International Banking director at FirstCaribbean, said of their donation: ‘We are happy to continue our support of the NCVO’s work in the Cayman Islands community. They are a worthy beneficiary and we hope that this donation will aid them in their ongoing efforts.’
