The Cayman Drama Society has held auditions for the popular Agatha Christie’s classic murder mystery, And Then There Were None.
Directed by Ian Morgan and produced by Penny Paterson, the drama requires a cast of eleven actors and actress, from those in their mid 20s to late 60s.
One of Agatha Christie’s best known murder mysteries the play is set on an island where the Owens have invited eight guests to their country house for the weekend. None of the guests have met each other, or their hosts, and an entertaining plot of who done its quickly evolves as a mysterious murder unfolds.
Mr. Morgan said that no previous acting experience is required nor do you need to be a member of the CDS to audition, although a membership fee of $10 would be required if cast.
Commenting on the play, the director said; ‘It’s a really good who done it from the queen of murder mystery, Agatha Christie.’
Performance dates are scheduled Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 14 to 30 September.
