Government schools will resume during the first week of September, as follows:
• For new primary school students on Grand Cayman, school commences on Monday with a half-day orientation session, which ends at 12.30pm. Thereafter, school closure is at 3pm for all public schools.
• For Grand Cayman’s primary school students (Years 1 to 6), the new Year 7 of George Hicks and the new Year 10 of John Gray, classes commence on Tuesday. All other students should be in school on Wednesday.
• On Cayman Brac, all primary school students in Years 1 to 6 should report for classes on Tuesday. Cayman Brac High School resumes on Wednesday.
