G.T. Automotive signs on for Expo

There’s a brand new bimmer on the road, and visitors to the upcoming Chamber of Commerce Business Expo 2006 will have a chance to get a first-hand look.

The stylish BMW Z4 Coupe recently arrived at G.T. Automotive, Cayman’s official importer for the premium brands of BMW and MINI.

The BMW Z4 Coupe, a two-seater sports car that gives a truly unique experience on the road, will be in the spotlight at the Business Expo as part of G.T. Automotive’s exhibit.

The dealership, one of the major sponsors of the three-day Expo, will also showcase its Kia models and possibly the new BMW 3 Series Coupe, which is due to arrive shortly in its showroom.

G.T. Automotive plans to introduce the all new BMW X5 to Cayman in early 2007, which will be offered with several different engines and as a seven-seater.

All BMW and MINI models are available with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty and all new cars come with two years’ free servicing.

Technicians at the dealership are factory-trained and regularly upgrade their knowledge by attending courses at the regional training school in Barbados as well as here in Cayman by a BMW trainer who is hired by eight Caribbean island importers including G.T. Automotive.

Run by Managing Director Steven Gunby and General Manager Chris Gunby, G.T. Automotive Imports Ltd. is part of the G.T. Automotive Group that was first established in 1991.

The G.T. Automotive Group also represents Land Rover and in late 2005 added Kia Motors to its line up.

Kia offers Cayman’s best new car warranty of three years or 60,000 miles and a five-year unlimited mileage warranty on the Opirus/Amanti.

The Chamber of Commerce Business Expo runs Oct. 12-14 at the Lions Centre.
