Ms Fisher masters STEP

Ms Rachel Fisher has passed her final STEP exam to obtain the STEP diploma.

To achieve this qualification she had to undergo two years of study and had to sit the required examinations in four advanced papers, namely: Trust Creation, Law and Practice; Company Law and Practice; Trust Administration and Accounts and Trustee Investment and Financial Appraisal.

She is now entitled to apply for full membership of the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners.

Ms Fisher has been working with Rawlinson & Hunter since early 2003 in the firm’s Trust and Corporate Services department. She received a scholarship from the firm in 2005 and is attending the Concordia University in Quebec, Canada, where she is pursuing her Bachelors of Commerce in International Business, states a press release.

She took her final STEP paper during her summer vacation.

After graduation, Ms Fisher plans to return to Cayman where she will continue to make a valuable contribution to the Rawlinson & Hunter team.

Mr. William Walmsley, partner with Rawlinson & Hunter said, ‘we applaud Rachel on her achievement which is a result of her determination and dedication and we wish her well in her continuing studies in international business. We look forward to her return to the firm from Canada in 2008.’
