Most businesses in the Cayman Islands rely on excellent customer service in order to maintain and boost sales. The Chamber of Commerce is providing an opportunity for all businesses to sharpen their customer service skills in a workshop by a leading expert in human behaviour, stated a press release.
The Chamber’s International Speakers Series presents Dr. Mels Carbonell, Ph.D. in Human Behaviour and Leadership and President of the Leadership Institute of America, for a seminar on Customer Service Excellence. It will be held 13 February at the Stephen Jared Ebanks Youth Centre, located at the Agape Family Worship Centre, from 9am to 4.30pm.
In this workshop, Dr. Carbonell will cover areas such as management, people-based selling and servicing, team building and motivation.
As a human behaviour specialist, he has conducted training for Walt Disney World, Zig Ziglar, AT&T, DuPont, John Deere, Acura, Fleetwood/Coleman, Southern Bell, GA Bankers Assoc., Minirth & Meier/New Life, Rapha, Ridgecrest Conference Center, Motorola, American Express, AIG Insurance, Baptist Sunday School Board, Trinity Evangelical Seminary, Dallas Theological Seminary, ACSI, plus many of America’s largest churches and schools.
He has also been a guest on the 700 Club, Moody Primetime Radio Network, ACTS Television Network and numerous radio and television talk shows nationwide.
The cost per person is CI$125 for Chamber members and CI$200 for future members. This price includes materials and refreshments.
