Unfortunately, the Morgans, who originally figured heavily in the Blue Raiders conference scoring plans, were both suffering from injuries, and were severely limited in their participation on this occasion.

Nevertheless, Carlos is currently listed fifth in the NCAA Division I rankings for his 25’5′ mark in the long jump.

However, Ronald turned in a superb performance in the men’s 55 meter hurdle event.

His 7.42 mark tied him with Juan Walker of Middle Tennessee for the fastest time in the preliminaries.

Walker was unable to compete in the finals, and in a head-to-head battle with Arkansas State’s Kazmere Hill, Ronald was given the nod for the victory by thousandths of a second in his personal best of 7.41, with which Hill was also credited.
