Slow down. This is the warning coming from South Sound Community Beat Officer Cornelius Pompey in light of numerous reports from residents asking for motorists travelling through the area to reduce their speed.
Whilst monitoring the mobile radar PC Pompey detected many motorists going above the recommended speed limit.
PC Pompey is calling on all motorists to pay attention to the traffic road signs and to give consideration to other drivers by always using indicators.
He also encourages bicycle riders to ride on the correct side of the road, left, and when riding at night to always use lights and flashers.
