On Monday 19 November, CITCO representative Vumi Dube presented Junior Achievement Chairman Pat Randall with a donation of CI$5,500 in support of the 2007-08 programme year.
‘We very much appreciate the receipt of such generous donations as we have received from CITCO Fund Services which will enable us to continue to offer the extremely valuable programme which provides the students of Cayman with a knowledge of the free enterprise system and better prepares them for the work place,’ Mr. Randall commented in a press release.
In addition to CITCO’s financial support, the organization also sponsors a Junior Achievement Company, which they have named ‘eXquisite kreationz.’ Over the 18-week programme period, the students start-up and run their own company under the supervision of Company Advisors who are CITCO employees. The CITCO volunteers consist of Steve Ali, Christoph Barnett, Delbert Bolton, Patricia Burke, Vumi Dube, Karla Ennis, Demetria Moss, Wiekert Weber and Marline Williams all of whom meet every Monday with the students.
