A new CD, Tropical Rhythms, featuring tunes by local artists hit the market this week. Junior Achievement of the Cayman Islands is issuing the CD as a fundraising effort.
The CD was created by Lil’ Kreationz, a Junior Achievement company sponsored by dms Broadcasting. At a price tag of CI$15 and with tracks by local artists such as Mel McCoy, Barefoot Man, Los Tropicanos, Nina Orrett and Divine Intuition, it will make a great stocking stuffer or gift for Christmas, said a JA press release.
‘Junior Achievement undertakes fundraising efforts each year to keep the programme running,’ explained Pat Randall, President of the Board for JA Cayman. ‘This year we decided to take advantage of this wonderful product that Lil’ Kreationz’ sold last year and reissue it, this time for an even broader audience. We believe it will be greatly appreciated by people, especially at this time of year.’
Tropical Rhythms can be purchased through the Junior Achievement office by phoning 949-4306 or emailing [email protected].
