Members of Rotaract Blue, Cayman Islands celebrated their charter night with family, friends and sponsors on Saturday, 8 December at the Grand Caymanian Resort. Sixteen members of Rotaract Blue were inducted that night.
The night began with a welcome reception followed by a ceremony which included inspirational speeches by Assistant District Governor, District 7020, Rotarian Sophia Harris; Assistant District Rotaract Chair, District 7020, Rotarian Michael Levitt; President of Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Central Sandy McFarlane; and Assistant District Rotaract Governor, District 7020, Rotaractor Dorothy Scott.
‘As President of Rotary Central, and sponsoring club, I am very proud and inspired by this important milestone of Rotaract Blue on their charter,’ said President Sandy McFarlane, who conducted the induction of members with President Elect Neville Smith.
‘Leading up to this, they have displayed true persistence in achieving their desired goals. Congratulations on your charter and we truly look forward to our continued successful partnership.’
Director of Professional Development Tricia Cacho, who was in charge of coordinating the event, said: ‘I am absolutely pleased with the outcome of this event. All of our hard work definitely paid off. This was truly a magical night!’
