Litigation attorney appointed

Litigation lawyer Murray A. Harris was admitted as an attorney at law of the Cayman Islands in the Grand Court on 27 November by Justice Angus Foster on the application of Truman Bodden & Company, Attorneys-at-Law.

Mr. Murray was previously admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in British Columbia in 2001 and in Alberta in 2004. He has considerable experience in the field of insurance litigation, having represented the interests of a variety of insurers throughout Alberta and British Columbia and in cross-border disputes. In addition, Mr. Murray has wide experience in commercial, construction and transportation litigation.

Attorney Philip Boni, who presented the application, said the firm was continuing to expand and develop its practice and anticipated there will be an increasing need for experienced lawyers skilled in dispute resolution.

Mr. Murray will join Philip Boni and Colette Wilkins in the firm’s litigation practice group.

The directors of Truman Bodden & Company welcomed Murray Harris to the firm and wished him success in his career with them.
