I write in reference to Mr. Truman Bodden’s letter to the Cayman Net News of 16 January, 2008, which states that the Commission of Enquiry called by the Governor was unnecessary and that the Commission should look into certain government expenditure.
Since Truman Bodden seems to like to write letters, he then should remember that when the Owen Roberts International Airport was built, there was a contract for furniture – whose wife had that, and whether that was tendered.
I believe the Governor was right in calling the Enquiry.
Good governance is burdened, when information is taken out of Government office by a political aspirant and misused in the way it was to the benefit of that civil servant to win an election.
I believe right thinking people understand this!
