Devon Jermaine Anglin, 22, appeared in Summary Court on Friday charged with five offences, including attempted murder.
The charges arise from a shooting incident outside Peppers Night Club in the early hours of Saturday, 23 February.
He is accused of attempting unlawfully to cause the death of a man, 26, and unlawfully and maliciously wounding the same man with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.
A charge relating to possession of an unlicensed firearm does not specify what kind.
Anglin is further charged with wounding a woman and causing damage to the left front window of her vehicle. Value of the damage was $395.
Chief Magistrate Margaret Ramsay-Hale remanded Anglin in custody until Tuesday, 4 March.
