When Liza Larence arrives in Grand Cayman on Thursday she will have a very busy weekend ahead of her.
The first item on her agenda will be to compete at the WNBF Pro Natural Mr & Ms Universe Championships at the Lions Centre on Saturday. The day after Larence and her fiancé, Patrick Reichenberger, will be married on the beach at sunset.
After all that Larence and her new husband will be staying in Cayman for their honeymoon and plan to do some scuba diving as well.
On her return to the US Larence and her only son, Conan, who currently reside in Georgia, will be moving to California to live on the northern coast with her husband. So, all in all, it’s a hectic and exciting time for Larence and her family.
With regard to her preparation for the upcoming championships, she said that she considers that her diet and training are going very well.
‘I am quite ripped already and plan to be my best ever for the Universe,’ she said. ‘That title would be the pinnacle of my accomplishments so far!’
Larence, who began competing in 1985 has a bodybuilding career that spans three decades. She has won numerous titles including the WNBF Pro International Heavyweight last year.
She was the runner-up at the 2007 WNBF Universe Championships. She works as a physician’s assistant and has a master’s in medicine from Emory (1996 Honors) and specializes in orthopedics and pain management. She has 12 years experience in this field.
