Flowers will bloom down Mexico way

The Cayman Islands Aquatic Swim Association is sending three of Cayman’s best young swimmers to compete in the FINA World Youth Championships in Mexico.

‘Seiji Groome, Summer Flowers and Lara Butler will be competing in the interest of gaining valuable international experience as they take the next step towards swimming at an elite level,’ said Coach Dominic Ross, who will accompany them.

They depart on Saturday for competition in Monterrey that begins on Tuesday and return on July 13.

On July 16 the Cayman Islands swimming association is sending a team of eight qualifiers to Jamaica to compete at the Caribbean Islands Swim Championships.
