Inspiration, motivation and positive personal growth were some of the themes of the ‘Motiv8 Inspirational Youth Rally’ which recently benefited hundreds of young people.
In what promises to become an annual event, world-renowned speaker Willie Jolley captivated the audience of some 500 at the Family Life Centre.
The event was facilitated by Cayman National, the sponsors, the National Youth Commission and the Youth Services Unit.
Thanking all involved, NYC Chairman Jenny Manderson especially encouraged young men and women to continue their introspection and focus on building productive and rewarding lives.
A wide range of individuals, youth groups, churches and Cayman Brac teens attended the rally. There was also live entertainment by young people and youth groups. Local officials in attendance included Cayman National Bank President Ormond Williams, and Youth Minister the Hon Alden McLaughlin, and his staff.
‘I am impressed with that over 500 young people participated in this Youth Rally and from all responses they benefited from the experience,’ said Mr. Williams. ‘We would hope that this could become an annual event for Cayman National.’
Mr. Jolley is an award-winning author, singer and speaker, Mr. Jolley offer crowd appeal, but with a message individual youths could relate and respond to.
Mr. Jolley, who was accompanied by his wife Dee, also was the main speaker at Cayman National’s annual staff meeting, which benefited 200 of the organization’s employees.
