Patricia DaCosta, head of Compliance for HSBC Bank (Cayman) Limited (HSBC Cayman,) has been promoted to become a member of the bank’s Local Management Committee, which is comprised of the bank’s senior management.
She was appointed as Head of Compliance for HSBC Cayman in February, 2007. She also serves as the bank’s money laundering reporting officer and is corporate secretary to the bank.
Patricia joins senior management colleagues Gonzalo Jalles, CEO; Mark Whiteside, COO; Christopher Saunders CFO; Walling Whittaker, head of Human Resources; Mark McIntyre, head of Corporate Banking; Andrew Jamieson, head of Personal Financial Services; Garry Crossan, head of Fiduciary Services; Tom Clarke, head of Insurance; and Jill Virgil-Smith, head of Legal, on HSBC Cayman’s Local Management Committee.
Patricia has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry and holds an associates degree in risk management qualification and the International Diploma in Compliance. She is a notary public for the Cayman Islands, a professional member of the International Compliance Association and a member of the Cayman Islands Compliance Association. She is pursuing an MBA qualification.
