Baby TJ’s family humbled

I found the article about fundraising for Baby TJ online this morning and as TJ’s father I just wanted to put on record how humbled Nikki and I have been by the care, kindness and generosity of so many people back home on the island.

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to so many that we simply cannot list them all here.

Indeed we feel we will never be able to express our gratitude sufficiently with words.

We do however want to make sure that people know and appreciate just how vital the prayers, messages of support, and fundraising efforts have been, and continue to be, in keeping us all going through the past three months.

Both Nikki and myself feel that we have been truly blessed.

During the course of this latest journey we have seen so much of the beautiful side of the human spirit – from those we love, our families, our friends and complete strangers.

To every single one of you – thank you from the bottom of our hearts – for anyone who may doubt it, the people of Cayman are, without question, some of the most community minded and wonderful people anywhere in the world.

God bless you all.

We are so proud and thankful that our baby will get to live and grow in such a caring and sharing community.

So, once again, our sincerest thanks to everyone who has played a part in helping us to stay with our son in Miami – we hope he will grow to be a Caymanian you can be proud to call one of your own.
