Talks should be public

Both the UDP and the PPM have asked for constitutional negotiations to be held in public, but shamefully only the FCO refused. So much for openness, transparency and accountability!

At the next election, voters can only now choose which version of ‘the truth’ to believe. The public should have been allowed to listen to the negotiations live before being asked to cast a vote at the next General elections, unless the unedited recordings are played for the public to hear.
