It was his second year in a row winning this prestigious award, states a press release.

Sponsored through Ford’s Export Operations division, the Service Excellence World Cup was held over a three-day period in Orlando, Florida, in late September.

The competition tested the service advisors’ skills based on their customer-friendly interaction and successful assessment of the test vehicle’s repair needs.

Greg Hall, service manager for Vampt Motors said, ‘I am delighted that Chad brought home this award for the second year in a row. It shows the commitment our Service Centre has to deliver the absolute best customer service possible.’

An eight-step service assessment reception along with a Multipoint Inspection Checklist is used to gauge the customer’s needs by carefully checking the exterior and interior of the vehicle. Mr. Phillips demonstrated his thoroughness in quickly conducting the inspection and determining the repairs required for the test vehicle.

‘The bottom line is the customer is No. 1. Vampt Motors continues to focus on achieving customer satisfaction as our top priority,’ said Mr. Phillips.

‘The Service Excellence World Cup has been a great way to motivate our entire Service team to improve customer satisfaction,’ Mr. Hall said. ‘To qualify, Mr. Phillips had to first complete self-paced Ford Customer Care courses online, which paid off in his increased performance and his ability to compete and win in this event.’

‘Vampt Motors is committed to being No. 1 in the Cayman Islands and the Caribbean, and we will continue to train our entire team in Service Excellence to further that goal,’ said Mr. Hall.

After winning first place in last year’s regional competition, Mr. Phillips went on to compete globally and win as the Top Service Advisor in the Service Excellence World Cup.

A subsidiary of Bodden Holdings Ltd., Vampt Motors Ltd has been serving the Cayman Islands for 40 years and is the only authorized dealership for Ford, Toyota, Jaguar, Lexus, Chery and JAC.
