Keep an open mind

What happened to Estella indeed is a very cruel and cold act.

We are living in the last days according to 2 Timothy 3:1-5, ‘1.You should also know this, Timothy that in the last days there will be very difficult times., 2. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred., 3. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control; they will be cruel and have no interest in what is good., 4. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God., 5. They will act as if they are religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly.’

For anyone who has watched television, read a newspaper, lost a retirement to corporate greed and corruption, or just walked outside their front door; it is obvious this prophecy has been fulfilled by our generation.

Our leaders are often corrupt; our cities are filled with crime, brutality, and neon signs proclaiming our sinful, godless nature.

This and many more things will happen. Cayman isn’t a safe paradise anymore.

My concern is, are we looking at a murder case or could we very well be looking at a serial killer case?

We all watch CNN every day and are amazed with what happens around the world, how mankind has become very skilled at killing. Couldn’t it be that we might have one of those sick ones here on these Islands?

The technique they used to kill Estella is similar to the one used to kill Swiss banker Frederick Bise. Is this just a coincidence? We should keep an open mind and hope that this was not just a random act.

I pray that we find this evil person very soon before he or she strikes again, and that they may come to justice.

May your soul rest in peace my dear Estella.
