Pepper spray part of answer

Pepper spray is a part of the answer, including hand-to-hand self-defence training, but it must be remembered that some persons are not physically able, for example, someone with a bad back, and will require other means of self-protection.

Are you suggesting that unless persons are in perfect physical health and knows hand-to-hand self-defence, they should be denied a means of defending their lives?

Mrs. Smith asked whether pepper spray is a protection or a potential weapon. Well, that depends on your intent.

For example, your car can be used to rob a bank or to deliver meals to needy people… So is your car a good or bad thing?

Evil intent is the real enemy, not the inanimate object.

While the buddy system is recommended practice by any security professional, it’s not always practical.

At some point in time a person will be alone and may be attacked. In that day, they will remember my words, if they survive the attack.

If the law continues prohibiting pepper spray and criminals wish to illegally purchase it for unlawful purposes, they will simply buy it without asking you, the police or anyone else; that is why they are called criminals.

Criminals do not respect the law.

The fundamental question is: on the day when you are alone and attackers attempt to kill you, by what means will you prevent the loss of your life?

Are you depending on asking the attacker to please stop?

If they cared about right and wrong, they would not be trying to kill you in the first instance, so you must be prepared to deal with that kind of evil, or possibly lose your life.
