Leroy’s departure jaw dropping

I was floored when my husband sent me this e-mail.

I have personally known Leroy since his day in the bars here in Edmonton.

When we were visiting the Hyatt in Cayman it was there that we saw Leroy.

He has such a charismatic way about him that he’s definitely hard to forget…that’s a good thing.

The Caymanian government should be ashamed of itself for not doing its best to ensure a commodity such as Leroy isn’t given a pass to remain on the island.

When you visit the island it’s the people in the hospitality industry that you remember and make friendships with.

Men like Leroy don’t come along every day.

His dedication to his profession is a passion that cannot be duplicated.

When he makes a statement, he backs it up. If he can’t find it…it can’t be found…so sad that a precious gift should be wasted due to politics.

I wonder how many people will be cancelling their vacations due to his not being there.

Or, if they haven’t heard until they get there how many will ask for ‘Leroy’ treatment and be especially disappointed when they don’t get it.

We all want to be pampered and made to feel special even if we’re not a celebrity.

That’s what Leroy does for us…he really goes to the end of the earth to ensure your hard earned vacation is a true success.

He does it because he loves it…he does it because he’s driven to excellence…he does it because that’s the kind of guy he is.

Leroy, if you’re in Edmonton I want to know which bar you’re at so I can be sure to come over there and give you a huge hug.

We’re happy to have you here man but I’m sure there are a lot of people in Cayman right now that wish you were there…you’re one of a kind!
