More than 80 players participated in the fourth annual NCB Homes Charity Golf Tournament.
It was held at the North Sound Club two weeks ago. The three major sponsors Cypress Pointe, Lakeside and Sailfish Quay were pleased that all the proceeds will be going to help The Cayman Brac Relief Fund.
‘Our goal was to raise CI$15,000 to help with the Cayman Brac Relief Fund and we have managed to raise $17,000 so we are very happy about it,’ said organiser Matthew Wight.
The winning team, Elite, which comprised of Lee Webb, David Hirniman, Kevin McGill and Mike Laurenson all won an Xbox 360.
In a very charitable gesture they auctioned these off at the prize giving to make an additional $710 towards the Brac funds.
Coming in second was the Cayman National Bank team earning members Ian Phillips, Kim Remizowski, Frank Brennan and Robert Woods a camera.
Taking third place and each winning a pair of golf shoes was one of the NCB Teams which comprised of Mark Sorrill, Ben Booker, Martin Fahy, and Connor O’Dea.
