Valentine’s is for singles, too

Singles are being encouraged to join in the Valentine’s celebration this Saturday.

Kicking off the festivities at 8pm at Aqua Beach, a pyjama-themed party will see X107.1FM and 96.5 CAYROCK, both dms Broadcasting radio stations, play Cupid with their official annual Nuts and Bolts party.

On arrival, ladies will receive a nut and gentlemen will receive a bolt. Both genders are then sent on a mission to find their lucky fit.

‘We at dms Broadcasting believe that this holiday should not be limited to couples – we think the celebration should be shared by all, and therefore this kind of party offers a fun and unique way for anyone to join in the festivitiy,’ said Phil Vinciullo, dms Broadcasting’s network promotions and marketing manager.

‘More than anything, the notion of searching for your ‘other half’ by finding matching nuts and bolts is a great way to break the ice and meet new people!’

The event is free to attend and prizes will be given away for the fastest matches.

‘Valentine’s Day is definitely not just for couples and we look forward to watching the madness unravel,’ said 96.5 CAYROCK Programme Director Brad Bregani.

‘Although the event is primarily for singles, we encourage everyone to come on down even if it’s just for support. We hope to see a lot of familiar faces out there and hope everyone comes clad in their pyjamas! Also, we would like to thank Aqua Beach for partnering with us in this event.’
