CAIN has committed to a financial investment as well as providing mentorship and business counselling.

‘Joy was one of our first clients, and is turning into one of our best success cases,’ said Dr. Dax Basdeo, Cayman Islands Investment Bureau executive director.

‘I am really impressed by her dedication and the personal growth that has brought her this far. She should be an inspiration to other entrepreneurs who start a business with little more than passion and a dream.’

A self-taught designer, Ms Taylor-Ebanks started her company with little more than her ambition and talent. Today, Le Vejoxe Design specializes in a broad range of unique hand-made beach-wear products.

‘My deep thanks to CAIN for believing in me,’ Ms Taylor-Ebanks said.

‘They have given me hope that I can succeed in following my passion. With the help of CIIB and the angel investors, I have the confidence to continue to build my business.’
