The Elections Office moved over the weekend to the Smith Road Professional Centre, 150 Smith Road, second floor.
The new office will be open to the public from 8.30am today, Monday.
Supervisor of Elections Kearney Gomez recalled that Hurricane Ivan in September 2004 destroyed the Elections Office in the Tower Building. He appreciated being able to relocate to Kirk House soon after.
However, space has always been cramped. The Smith Road Professional Centre provides parking and sufficient office space to accommodate staff and the electorate, along with a proper secure storage area.
Signs will be posted to direct first-time visitors. The Elections Office phone and fax numbers remain the same. The post office address and e-mail address also remain the same.
