Telecoms company LIME, in an effort ‘to make life a little easier’ in the current economic climate surprised shoppers at several supermarkets across Grand Cayman by giving out grocery gift vouchers.
Eight LIME staff from different departments across the company volunteered to hand out the vouchers.
One volunteer, Joy Ebanks said: ‘It is a great feeling to put a smile on someone’s face and to see their reaction. This is the second Random Act of Kindness that I have participated in and I love doing it. It’s a great way to give back to our loyal customers and feels so good to say thanks for choosing LIME.’
Tony Ritch, Country Manager LIME Cayman Islands said: ‘We recognise that times are tough at the moment and this Random Act of Kindness is part of our current promotion that is designed to offer customers significant savings.’
Throughout the giveaway promotion, LIME’s mobile pre-paid and postpaid customers are able to send text messages to other LIME mobiles free everyday from 4pm to 5pm during the LIME Texting Happy Hour.
Prepaid customers can also enjoy free calls to other LIME mobiles all day Sunday once they top up $25 during the week; while new post-paid customers automatically receive double their allocation of on-net minutes for the first three months of their contract.
LIME is also offering savings on broadband for new customers who sign up for internet. They will get double the speed at the regular price for the first three months.
