As the latest Harry Potter film nears its premiere in Grand Cayman on 24 July at Hollywood Theatres in Camana Bay, X107.1 is partnering with Butterfield and its Young Savers Savings Account to bring the series’ newest installment, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
Since Monday 13 July, The Morning X with Dane and Chloe is giving away tickets to fans who call in during the First Tickets in Town on-air competition. The winners will join X107.1 at Hollywood Theaters as they broadcast live from the premiere at 6 PM.
‘We are thrilled to be teaming up with Butterfield Young Savers and Hollywood Theaters to present one of the biggest films of 2009,’ said Chloe.
‘This is a wonderful opportunity for Harry Potter fans of all ages to come together and enjoy a night at the movies with their family and friends. Tickets are bound to sell out quickly, so we encourage all of our loyal listeners to tune in to X107.1 for more information on how to win a chance to attend this once-in-a-lifetime event.’
The sixth Harry Potter movie picks up soon after the fifth left off. With the return of the dark wizard, Lord Voldemort, the once-peaceful wizarding world has been thrown into upheaval. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Professor Dumbledore must seek out the keys to Voldemort’s weakness in order to prepare a defense for the magical world.
‘We are so pleased to be partnering with X107.1 for the premiere of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince,’ said Butterfield Banking Centre Manager Antonette Alexander.
‘This is a great event for us to introduce our new Young Savers Savings Account for 10 to 17 year olds. Opening this account not only teaches these young individuals the value of a dollar, but the value of responsibility – a quality that is no stranger to Mr. Potter.’
The Young Savers Saving Account programme features a joint account with a parent or guardian and the minimum deposit to open the account is $50.00 KYD or USD. The programme includes a student savings account, a debit card and access to Butterfield Online, Butterfield’s online banking system. Participants who sign up this summer will be entered to win a laptop for the new school year. Children or parents interested in the Young Savers Savings Account programme can visit www.ky.butterfieldgroup.com for more information.
