Tortuga Liquors’ Art, Food & Wine Tasting event held on the 30 July showcased the colorful art of Nasaria Suckoo. Restorante Pappagallo furnished the appetizers and the wine selection was Toasted Head Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon from California.
These free, special events on the last Thursday of every month at the Tortuga Liquors Governors Square location are designed to showcase the work of local artists, and sample featured wines and appetizers.
‘Nasaria Suckoo’s art was very popular. She sold several pieces and was very pleased with this event. Each tasting is a new opportunity to try different wines, enjoy delicious appetizers from a local restaurant, meet the artist and learn about their work,’ says Monique Hamaty-Simmonds, Assistant Managing Director of Tortuga Rum Company, whose father founded the company 25 years ago. ‘We appreciate the great turnout each month and invite everyone in the community to join in the festivities.’
The next scheduled Art, Food & Wine Tasting will be on 27 August from 5 pm – 7 pm at Tortuga Liquors, Governors Square and will feature artist/ photographer Dubadah Boldeau, and the featured wines will be Finca Flichman Chardonnay and Malbec Roble olteo Tempranillo Shiraz. Appetizers will be provided by Agave Grill.
