The meaning in my comments about Caymanians’ ability to learn to operate casinos or any other business was totally misconstrued.
My point was that in the beginning, for any new industry, there is necessarily a training period that must take place. Whether that training takes place on island or elsewhere, it must take place.
The statement was not meant to belittle any Caymanian. I am married to a Caymanian and intend to live here for the rest of my life. Cayman is my chosen home and my letter was only meant to pass along the information that I have.
