Wilson’s progress

One of the brightest football talents on the island is Elite midfielder Jermaine Wilson who is so good that his coach would like to see him go overseas to progress.

Wilson is only 14 yet already in the Elite senior squad and plays in the side’s First Division team and for the Under-17s.

The central midfielder is the son of bodybuilding champ Tiger Woods. Jermaine was featured in this paper earlier this year and is certainly living up to his promise of one day being a pro.

Coach Greg Ebanks said: ‘I think Jermaine is so good that I’d like to see him going to one of those academies in England so that he can reach his full potential. If he stays here he won’t achieve all he can.’
