Friday, 6 November, has been declared a public holiday to mark the commencement of the 2009 Cayman Islands Constitution.
According to a government press release, the day is a holiday for this year only.
The Public Holidays Order 2009 was published today [Friday, 23 October] in the government gazette.
The order was made by the Governor, Mr. Stuart Jack in accordance with section 2 of the Public Holidays Law (2007 Revision).
