Temporary clean-up workers get paid

I don’t know why the recent initiative to pay temporary workers for cleaning up around the Islands was considered a United Democratic Party initiative.

If the workers are receiving government cheques, then it must be a government initiative. Why do we have to bring politics into something like this?

I trust the workers will notice that they are receiving government cheques and not UDP cheques.
