Home Gas burn

Sunday sees the next round of games
in the national women’s league.

The Arts and Recreation
Center at Camana Bay
sees a pair of games at 4pm and 6pm.

First up is a battle of unbeaten
sides as the Home Gas Flames battle the Domino’s Lady Heels.

After that Welly’s Cool Spot shoot
for their first win against fellow winless side the Silver Bullets.

Home Gas features some sports
talents such as Emily Vaka’uta (known for flag football) and Lauri Webster (who
plays flag football and netball).

Domino’s features roughly the same
team as last year while Silver Bullets are still steadied by Scimone Campbell
and Bobeth O’Garro. Welly’s remain a young team steadied by prodigies like
Felecia Connor.

This year’s league started two
Sundays ago and is sponsored by the Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers
Association.

Matches are played Thursdays and
Sundays at the ARC. Thursday matches take place at 6:15pm and 8:15pm.
