Bad weather does not affect Cayman Airways flights this weekend

 The latest bout of extreme winter weather
in the north-eastern United
States has not yet led to any cancellations
for Cayman Airways.

The national carrier is due to fly
to New York on Friday and Saturday plus Chicago on Sunday as well as flights to Miami
and Tampa.

Passengers are encouraged to remain
in touch with the airline, said Olivia Scott-Ramirez, manager, Marketing and
Corporate Communications.

“We try to keep all flights on
schedule unless it’s absolutely necessary to cancel them.”


On the home page of, she explained, there is an option to track flights where passengers
can put in their flight number and date and access real-time flight information.

Should there be any changes to
flight schedules the reservations department would contact passengers on the
phone number they gave at time of reservation to advise of any alterations.
