Young Caymanians join Island Heritage

Insurance provider Island Heritage
is growing its team of professionals with the recent hire of two young
Caymanians, Lilia Conolly and Monique Bush who joined the company in January.

Ms Conolly, appointed to the
position of Human Resources Manager holds a Bachelor’s degree in HR Management from
Florida International University in the USA and a Master of Science in HR Management
from the University of Portsmouth.

Having worked with the CI Government
for the majority of her career, Ms Conolly moved to the private sector to
further enhance her overall knowledge in the field.

“My role is highly invigorating and
rewarding,” she said.

 “I am responsible for HR in both our Cayman
and Barbados offices. As I take on prominent HR initiatives, I feel honored and
delighted to be a part of our vibrant team.”

Ms Bush who has taken on the role
of Marketing and Advertising Specialist holds a Bachelor’s degree from the
University of North Carolina where she studied marketing.

She brings with her years of
experience in the marketing field through work experience both local and abroad
over many facets of marketing in a cross-section of industries.

“I’ve joined Island Heritage during
a very exciting time,” she said.

“We have recently launched our new Motor
Cover insurance programme and are moving toward a more personal relationship
with our customers through the opening of our dedicated Customer Service Center
in the Strand. The company is growing and I’m glad to be a part of it.”

Ms Conolly and Ms Bush join 30 employees at
Island Heritage of which 21 are Caymanian. Headquartered in Cayman, the company
has been providing insurance coverage locally since 1996.
