Shivnarine Chanderpaul hopes his
new found form can continue when the West Indies clash with Zimbabwe today.
It is the fourth One-Day
International in St Vincent and West Indies are 2-1 up after being embarrassed
in the first match.
Chanderpaul continued to restore some
pride with a half century. West Indies
crushed Zimbabwe on Wednesday in the third one-dayer in the first match at
Arnos Vale, St Vincent, winning by 141 runs.
West Indies were 245-9 thanks to
Chanderpaul’s 58 and Adrian Barath’s 35. Captain Chris Gayle opened with Barath
and hit a quick 33.
However, the game was won with the pace of Kemar
Roach (3-28) and the intelligent medium pace of Darren Sammy (4-26) with Hamilton
Masakadza (35) the only Zimbabwe batsman to establish himself.
Windies
were bolstered by the return of Dwayne Bravo, back from injury.
