Brett gets ESPN props

Cayman’s Olympic swimmer
Brett Fraser is in such fine form that he has been named in the ESPN Magazine
Academic All-District second team honours list. it is a fitting accolade for
the 20-year-old swimmer who is emerging out of his older brother Shaune’s shadow
as a world class competitor.

Fraser earned seven
All-America honours in 2010 – the maximum available for an individual. He was
part of Florida’s 800 metres free relay which set the school record at the 2010
NCAA Championships. 

Fraser holds top 10 times in
six other events in University of Florida’s all-time history. He was part of
Florida’s 2010 SEC champion 800m freestyle relay and collected a total of three
All-SEC honours as a junior. He is a three-time member of the SEC Academic
Honor Roll and part of the 2009 CSCAA Scholar All-America team.
