Camp gets kids snapping

Kids
interested in photography have the opportunity to take part in a special camp
this summer.

Cayman
Camera and The Camera Store will be offering ShutterBugs summer camp in which
children will get a chance to develop their photography skills while learning
more about techniques, photography and cameras.

“We
will be taking the kids out and teaching them a little bit about photography
and how to take a good picture teaching them about aspects of photography like
focus,” said Jenny Aguilar, supervisor at Cayman Camera. She recommends that
parents interested in signing their kids up for the camp come in to either
location to fill out a registration form.

The
camp will be broken up into two age divisions, 8-12 and 13-16. Dates for the
8-12 age group are 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 July and 6, 13, 20 and 27 August.

Dates
for the 13-16 age group are 12, 19, 26 July and 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 August.

The single sessions
will run from 9am to 12pm and cost $35 with a camp shirt and light snack
provided.
